Dr. Watson is an error windows that is shown a specific software has caused an error in the Windows operatiinf system. Whenever a program crashes. the Dr. Watson debugger screen is shown. This tells you that some error has occurred in the system and you have to send this error report to the publisher or ask for help. However, usually the error message is more of an annoyance then it is helpful.

People start thinking that there is some problem with their computer or there is a virus in their system. The program error may be caused by a virus, but this could also be the result of software not working properly. There are ways with which you can disable Dr. Watson messages to keep appearing.

On the Microsoft online help center, you can find ways to disable the debugger. If you are not a programmer, this is recommended that you should not try to debug the program.  In new version of Windows like Vista, Dr. Watson is disabled by default. To enable it, press the F1 key on the desktop and search for Dr Watson Debugger and you can start it up.
